The administration building for Hot Springs County School District is naming its building after custodian Joe Arnold who has served the district for 40 years and Wyoming schools for 60 years. The unanimous decision by the school board was a way to honor Mr. Arnold, who has touched the hearts of the students and staff. In addition to keeping the buildings clean, Mr. Arnold mentored students, bought them lunch, and donated funds to help those who could not afford to attend field trips and other educational functions. "Joe is a pillar of our community. He attends every fundraiser held in our town,” said Kimberly Jones, district secretary who works in the same building. “You know him when you see him. He will be the one bidding up the popular item, paying for it, and then donating it back to be auctioned off again. He is one of the most humble people I have ever known."
