India has started a virtual pet adoption program to give animals the care they need while giving quarantining residents an opportunity to sponsor them and beat the lockdown blues. For a small sum, people can virtually visit with their long-distance pet and interact with them via online videos -- even visit with them when the lockdown is lifted.
