In Sao Paulo, Brazil, a nursing home created a 'hug curtain' to allow their patients to safely embrace their family members and friends without the fear of contracting the virus. As the pandemic continues, many high-risk groups such as the elderly have been isolated for protection. The 'hug curtain' provides the patients of this nursing home with much-needed affection and love during the pandemic. Other nursing homes plan on implementing similar contraptions in their buildings to help patients see their friends and families.
