Conservation groups released more than 10,000 baby turtles into the sea off the Indonesian island of Bali. The initiative emerged as an attempt to boost the population of a vulnerable species and promote environmental protection. The program is also enabling the collection of turtles and their release in safer places, as well as protection against illegal trafficking.
