In Bronx, N.Y., where over 50% of the food banks and pantries are closed due to Covid-19, Millie Peartree Catering pivoted to providing balanced meals for children in grades K-12. Instead of losing her business during this crazy time, she is helping the poorest neighborhoods receive hot meals on a weekly basis. She is funded through generous donations from individuals and companies.
