Ruth Bader Ginsburg, appointed to the US Supreme Court in 1993 and the second woman to have been, is receiving praise, honor and tributes from all corners of the country and both sides of the aisle, following her death from pancreatic cancer at the age of 87. She is remembered as a "champion for gender equality by the worlds of politics, business, entertainment and beyond," the LA Times reports. Wide-ranging figures -- from Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton to singers Barbara Streisand and Jennifer Lopez to Apple's Tim Cook to royalty like Meghan Markle and so many others have saluted her lifelong service to the greater good. Actress Mindy Kaling said it well: "I hope you rest well, RBG, you must have been tired from changing the world."
