An elderly couple, married for 60 years, were reunited recently after spending 215 days apart. The husband, Joseph, was hospitalized in March but couldn’t have visitors because of Covid-19 restrictions. Staff at the care home where they live knew their reunion needed to be recorded because their story is so special and the reunion would be so poignant. The wife, Eve, suffers memory problems, but knew exactly who her husband was and was overjoyed to see him again.
