In a worldwide show of support for front-line healthcare workers and first responders, Airbnb hosts are making their homes available for free to those on the front lines of response to the Covid-19 crisis. The company's goal is to provide free housing for 100,000 COVID-19 responders, and more than 20,000 hosts around the world have responded in an effort to support healthcare workers as they remain safely isolated from their families. Extra precautions are required of these generous hosts: only entire homes can be listed, and hosts must provide extra cleanings, 72-hour breaks between stays, and safe social distancing practices.
