A nonprofit and media publishing duo are teaming up in hopes to build a happier, healthier world by encouraging home gardening. The initiative will officially launch on Plant A Seed Day, Saturday, March 20, 2021. Covid-19 has exacerbated food insecurity, so the emphasis on growing fresh produce comes at a critical time. "Big Green and Modern Farmer started Million Gardens Movement to make it simple for anyone to give a family a garden. Planting a seed is an act of hope for a brighter tomorrow," Kimbal Musk, co-founder of Big Green, told Food Tank.
