High school senior Joshua Nelson landed a full-ride scholarship at Southeast Missouri State University. Now the Missouri native wants to pay it forward by donating his college savings to another high school senior. After winning the four-year scholarship, which is valued at $43,000, Nelson is donating the $1,000 he saved for college to another student in need. He started The Joshua Nelson Leaders in Action Scholarship and is challenging local businesses to match his donation so more students can be helped. "I think he's an inspiration to some of the other people at school, especially students of color," said Harmony Hudson, Nelson's classmate.
