Diede de Groot from the Netherlands becomes the first player to complete the golden slam in the US Open Wheelchair Women's Singles on Sunday. She won all four majors and the Paralympic gold medal leading up to the feat. Not long after this, Australian Dylan Alcott won the golden slam event in the wheelchair singles tennis final in his respective tournament, becoming the first man ever to do so.
