Sixteen-year-old Sofia Oliviera and her 13-year-old brother Andre are among six young people in Portugal who are giving European politicians 'a second chance', after COP26, to tackle climate change seriously. In 2017, Portugal experienced some of its worst forest fires ever - 485 homes were destroyed, 66 people died, 205 square miles was burned, and the children saw it all on television. The six filed suit in the European Court of Human Rights, arguing that 33 European countries had not done enough to prevent the impact of climate change, affecting their rights under the European Convention on Human Rights. The court has accepted their case and given it priority status. "We need solutions," says Sofia. "Let's put the solutions on the table. It's now or never."
