A Scottish charity has transformed the lives of children in some of the world's poorest countries. KidsOR, founded by Edinburgh philanthropists Garreth and Nicola Wood, delivered life-saving surgery to 49,154 children in some of the world's poorest countries in 2021. "By providing more than 3,000 pieces of specializedpediatric surgical equipment in each of our 50 operating rooms, more children are now able to access the vital life-changing or life-saving surgical care," said CEO David Cunningham.
