“To our dying breath, we should be able to feel that we are loved and cared for, and that we’re important,” says Rose Reyes, co-founder of King’s Compassion. The organization aims to help the elderly maintain their independence and stay in their own homes for as long as possible. King's Compassion also works to add value to the properties of the seniors they serve, helping to keep them in good shape. “You do have a friend,” says Robert Reyes, another co-founder, “whether it’s delivering diapers, or delivering furniture, or mowing a yard.”
