Skies are clearer, wildlife is returning and renewable energy is moving ahead of coal in Germany. Last Monday, the country's solar power plants produced record amounts of energy. Germany has announced plans to spend $44.5 billion less on coal by 2038, predicting that, by that year, 80% of the country will be relying on green energy.
