Benevolence Farm, based in rural Alamance County in North Carolina, helps women recently released from prison transition back into the world. The farm provides housing and jobs, paying $15 an hour, all the while offering a safe and uplifting environment for these women. This community-based program has significantly decreased recidivism, offering local aid to those affected or mistreated by the criminal justice system.
