West Yorkshire, once occupied by many large retailers that have now left the town, is now lighting up with art, performances, and parades, bringing life back to its high streets. For example, in March, 'K-Town' weekend, a project brought together by Keighley Creative, featured many free events, including art trails and the opening of small businesses. "Creativity, community, collaboration," says the manager of the art organization. "Together these can help save our high streets."
