Lulu, the beloved blind elderly dog of the Kubacki family, wandered off from home for three weeks until construction workers found her foraging through salmonberry bushes. Initially, they thought she was a bear, but quickly realized their mistake. They soon called up the Kubacki family. Ted Kubacki, Lulu's owner, recalls his family's relief after they found out she was alive. “I called my wife from work and it was just screaming," Kubacki said. "She just starts yelling, then she yells to the kids. And I just hear them screaming like crazy."
