A Sikh community in Riverside, Calif., is providing thousands of free hot meals and other essentials each day to those in need. Volunteers approach cars and ask how many meals, water bottles, grocery bags and masks are needed per family. Around 3,000-5,000 hot meals are served per day, and many public service workers, such as LAPD policemen, are involved in the initiative.
