During the pandemic, frequent hand washing has been one of the main suggestions to help reduce the chances of contracting coronavirus. But for the homeless, this basic precaution is far FROM easy -- because many public bathroom facilities are now closed. Love Beyond Walls, an organization based in Atlanta, found a way to supply portable sinks all over the city -- and in other cities, through partnerships to help fill this need. The sinks are connected to small tanks of water and have built-in soap dispensers. Volunteers clean them daily as well as refill the water and soap. Their goal is to "take hand-washing across America." It's so wonderful that Love Beyond Walls has been able to help `member`s of society who could have been forgotten during this difficult time, with a simple act of kindness that will help keep so many safe.
