Novelist, philanthropist, and former spouse of Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos, MacKenzie Scott has made another large donation. This time, she's gifting her Beverly Hills estate, worth $55 million, to support affordable housing efforts. Specifically, she donated the estate to a nonprofit organization, California Community Foundation (CCF), which intends to sell the property and channel 90% of the sale funds towards its housing program. The remaining proceeds will "help advance opportunities for the millions of immigrants from throughout the world who call Los Angeles County home," PEOPLE reported. Scott's donation is a another in a series of sizeable, speedy, and unrestricted donations that have characterized her unique, trusting, and relatively unprecedented flavor of philanthropy.
