Manchester town officials announced that solar panels installed on seven public buildings will lead to annual energy savings of $100,000. Power produced from the solar energy panels is purchased by the town instead of buying the same amount of power from Eversource, which would cost more money. In addition to saving money, this project showcases the town's commitment to prioritizing renewable energy.
