Solar power in Europe has soared by almost 50 percent in 2022, according to a new report from industry group SolarPower Europe. Germany installed more solar power than any other EU country followed closely by Spain, then Poland, The Netherlands, and France. There are some barriers that need to be tackled to make the installation and use of solar power even more streamlined and useful: “We need more electricians and stable electricity market regulation. A solar-powered Europe can only be based on smoother administrative processes, speedier grid connections, and resilient supply chains.”
