Zack Conti was juggling multiple jobs to pay his way through college, even selling his plasma. One of his Eastern Michigan University football teammates, Brian Dooley, decided to donate his own NCAA scholarship as a gift to him. “I've never heard, I've never seen anything like that ever before" said the team’s coach. Conti was honored and thankful: "Sometimes asking for help's not easy. The team ... they were supportive. It wasn't really hard to be open to them," he said. "They got my back." Conti’s mother has polycystic kidney disease and needs a transplant.
