After a visit with her ill father-in-law in North Carolina, Rose Andresen and her husband Adam Terrell were driving back to their home in to Fort Walton Beach, Florida. It was night. Ten hours into the drive, Terrell suddenly lost conscious at the wheel. Andresen, taking hold of the wheel, veered the car away from traffic, crashing into a cluster of trees. A mysterious stranger in an SUV heading in the opposite direction deliberately turned around and pulled up beside to help. He called for emergency services and stayed with the couple until they arrived. The stranger disappeared before the couple could track him down. "I would like to be able to thank him for stopping. I'd like to be able to tell him that we lived," said Andresen.
