Mary and Taylor Stanley did not expect that the simple act of ordering a bicycle pump on Amazon would save their lives and that of their baby from the Marshall fire, which swept through their community in Boulder, Colorado last week. Their car was not working and the fire was just five minutes away, when Lou Anne rang their bell to deliver the package and find out if they needed help. The Stanleys quickly jumped into her delivery van and she drove them to safety. They later found out that their house had been razed to the ground by the flames. The grateful Stanleys realize that if it were not for her, they would probably not have made it out. “It was just a miracle that happened on both of our sides,” says Lou Anne.
